Fix the Fixing team members Dr Deirdre O’Shea and Dr Tadhg Mac Intyre, from University of Limerick, tried to look at the number of players and athletes who experienced match-fixing and examine the reasons for their involvement in the practice, in an article in RTE, the website of Ireland’s National Public Service Broadcaster.
